2. Census in 1930 in Peru, Miami, IN. ⁹ The 1930 census recorded Mary Beecher, 11, living in the household of her grandmother, Jennie M. Fisher, 65. Also in the home was Jennie's mother, Lovina Newberry, 87. Everyone was born in Indiana.

3. Henry and Mary obtained a marriage license Mary J. Beecher of Indianapolis, Indiana and Raleigh R. Brandenberg of Louisville, Kentucky in Oct 1838 in Raleigh, Wake, NC. ¹

4. Cause of Death: Mary died at 1445 Broadway from Hodgkin's disease, 1 Dec 1945, Indianapolis, Marion, IN. ³

5. Obituary: Indianapolis Star: obituary of Mrs. R. Brandenburg on 3 Dec 1945 in Indianapolis, Marion, IN. ⁸ Mrs. Mary Jesse Brandenburg, 27 years old, 315 North Senate Avenue, died Saturday night in the home of her mother, Mrs. Cleo Suddarth, 1445 Broadway, after an illness of four months.

Mrs. Brandenburg, a native of Mexico, Miamia County, had lived here 18 years and formerly worked at the Ammunition Depot at Crane. She was a member of the First Church of the Brethren and a graduate of Emmerich Manual Training High School.
Funeral services will be held at 11:15 o'clock tomorrow morning in the Kirby Mortuary, 1901 North Meridian Street, and at 2 o'clock in the afternoon in Mexico, followed by burial there.
Survivors besides the mother, who operates a nursing home here, are the husband, Raleigh Brandenburg, and a brother, Irvin W. Beecher of Kokomo.

Beecher of Kokomo, was buried Tuesday in Greenlawn cemetery at Mexico, Miami county, where she was born. She died Saturday night at the home of her mother, Mrs. Cleo Suddarth, in Indianapolis after being ill for four months.
Survivors include the husband, Raleigh Brandenburg, her mother and brother.
