Raleigh (Brandy) Brandenburg, 57 years old, 1116 North Pennsylvania street, Apt 14, died yesterday in West 10th Street Veterans Administration Hospital.
An Indianapolis resident 14 years, he had been employed the last 10 years as an ambulance driver for the Clayton Auto Livery. He formerly was an ambulance driver for Marion County General Hospital.
He was a World War II veteran and a former member of Cadle Tabernacle.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Grinsteiner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Floral Park Cemetery.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Hazel Brandenburg; three stepsons, Charles, Gilbert and Lonnie Allee, and two stepdaughters, Miss Evelyn Allee and Mrs. Janice Deitrick, all of Indianapolis, a sister Mrs. Margaret Peebles of Mooresville, a brother, Roy Brandenburg of Indianapolis, and 13 grandchildren.

Raleigh married Mary Jessie Beecher, daughter of Dwight Elvin Beecher and Cleo Verl Fisher, on 12 Oct 1938 in Raleigh, Wake, NC.¹ (Mary Jessie Beecher was born on 9 Jul 1918 in Peru, Miami, IN,^{3 4 9 10 11} died on 1 Dec 1945 in Indianapolis, Marion, IN ^{3 10 11} and was buried on 4 Dec 1945 in Mexico: Green Lawn Cemetery, Miami, IN ^{3 4 10}.)
