Irving Ruler, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Ruler, 136 West Jackson street, and Miss Mary Beecher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Beecher, 26 Lafayette street, will be married today in Baust's church, near Taneytown, Md. They will leave York on the 7:55 train this morning for Taneytown, proceeding to Westminster by automobile, where the license will be procured. Thence they will go to Baust's Reformed Church where they will be married by the bridegroom's brother-in-law, Rev. E. Murray Ness, pastor.
The bride will wear a traveling siit of blue tricotrine cloth, with hat to match. There will be no attendants. The parents of the couple and Mrs. Murray E. Ness will witness the ceremony.
After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Ruler will take a trip of a few weeks to Baltimore. Washington, Philadelphia and New York.
On their return to York they will make their home at 26 Lafayette street. Mr. Ruler is a world war veteran, having served two and a half years in the navy, aboard the Arkansas and Virginia. The bnde is contralto singer of note, a member of the Union Lutheran choir for several years.

The service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Robert F. Koller Funeral Home Inc., 2000 W. Market St., York. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Viewing will be 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Kottcamp was born in Seven Valleys. She was a daughter of the late T. Howard and Minnie (Bupp) Beecher.
She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church and the Faithful Daughters Class of the Sunday School.
Mrs. Kottcamp is survived by a nephew.
Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Myron R. Jones.
