He was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Congregational Church, Adamstown, where he was Sunday School superintendent for 43 years, and a church steward. He was a member of the P.O.S. of A., Adamstown.
He was a son of the late Henry and Sarah Bicher Bucher.
He is survived by three daughters, Irma, wife of Harry M. Redcay, Adamstown; Gertrude, wife of the Rev. Clarence Bradbury, Eaton, Ohio, and Edna, wife of George C. Bollman, Adamstown. There are eight grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by two brothers, Ammon and Harry Bucher, both of Adamstown, and a sister, Mrs. Bessie Kurtz, Leacock.
