Bane, 79, of Sibley, a retired hospital employee, died at 9:30 a.m. yesterday 2-5-1992 at Gibson Community Hospital, Gibson City. Her funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Anchor, the Rev. Melvin C. Blobaum officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Anchor. Visitation will be from 5 - 8 p.m. today at Lamb Funeral Home, Gibson City, and from 2 - 3 p.m. Friday at the church. Mrs. Bane was born 10-26-1912 at Anchor, a daughter of John E. and Maude Hasty Beecher. She married Lee Quinn 11-4-1933 in Covington, Ind. He died 5-19-1975. On 9-22-1979 she married Charles Bane in Anchor. He survives. Other survivors include one son, Charles Quinn, Saybrook; one daughter, Judith Glascock, Sibley; one stepson, Bill Bane, Clarence; three stepdaughters, Mary McCormick, Tolono; Rose Beasley, Austin, TX; and Patricia Farris, Elliott; 24 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; two brothers, Delmar Beecher, Pontiac, and Ralph Beecher, Bloomington; and one sister, Mildred Trembley, Colfax. Mrs. Bane spent most of her life in the Colfax-Anchor-Saybrook and Gibson City areas and moved to Sibley in 1975. She was employed at Gibson Community Hospital for 10 years retiring in 1978. Mrs. Bane was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the Sibley American Legion Auxiliary Unit. Memorials may be made to her church or the American Lung Association. Melba married Roy L. Quinn, son of Henry Quinn and Emma Burro, on 4 Nov 1933 in Anchor: St. John's Lutheran Church, Mclean, IL.1 (Roy L.
