Beecher was born in America; that I was married to my said husband on August 2, 1918 at Easton, as evidenced by the certificate of marriage herewith submitted; and that I am still his legal wife and no judicial proceedings for separation or divorce are pending; that my said husband is a member of the military forces of the United States of America, serving in the capacity of Private in the 20th Aero Squadron.

I further swear that my father, George Henson, was born in England, my mother Charlotte Henson, was born in England, and that my full name before marriage was Ada M. 8. Obituary: Reading Times: Obituary of Ida M. Beecher on 25 Apr 1924 in Reading, Berks, PA. 9 Ida M. Beecher, wife of Luther M. Beecher, died at 6:40 a. m. yesterday at her home, in Hyde Villa.
Mrs. Beecher was born March 16, 1893, in England, and came to this country and Reading five years ago. Her parents were George and the later Henrietta Henson. She was a member of the Christ Episcopal church, this city.
She leaves her father, who still resides in England; her husband, two children, Kenneth and Mary, both at home, and these brothers and sisters, all in England: Arthur, Jack, Robert, Harry, Elizabeth and Mary.

Newspaper: Reading Times: funeral of Ada Beecher, 30 Apr 1924, Reading, Berks, PA. 11 The funeral of Ada, wife of Luther Beecher, was held from her home at Hyde Villa, and was attended by relatives and friends. Rev. Mr. MacMillan of the Episcopal church, officiated. The body dressed in a silk dress, reposed ina silver gray polished casket with silver extension bar handles and plate with name and age inscribed. Interment took place in Epler's church cemetery, under the direction of Undertaker Greenawalt.
Floral tributes were: Aunt Clara Adams, tulips; Aunt Annie Beecher, tulips; Uncle John and family, roses; Irvin Beecher and family, snapdragons; Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Beecher, carnations; Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Beecher, carnations; church and Sunday school, tulips; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Roedel, snapdragons; Mr. and Mrs. J. William Kline, roses; Mrs. DeLong and sister, daffodil and snapdragons; Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Loose, daffodils and sweet peas; Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Hample, carnations; Mr. Lyle and Miss Cochran, lillies; husband and family, basket of flowers; children, spray sweet peas; Mr. and Mrs. Shaaher and son, spray of lillies; Mr. and Mrs. Haas and family, roses; friend, Peter, roses.
