Former nurse to be buried in Espy
Sarah Barstler Bucher, 75, of Pocomoke City, Md., died Friday, June 23, 2000, at the Salisbury Center: Genesis Elder Care, in Salisbury, Md.
Born in Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Roscoe and Grace Campbell Barstler.
Bucher was a graduate of Bloomsburg High School and Temple University School of Nursing, Philadelphia.
Her husband, John H. Bucher, M.D., preceded her in death in 1975.
Surviving are a son, John W. Bucher, Chester, Va.; a daughter, Ellen B. McAllen, Pocomoke City, Md.; and five grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Monday at the New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Holloway Melson Funeral Home, 103 Linden Ave., Pocomoke City, Md.
