His probation was revoked and he was ordered to serve 240 days in the Lane County Jail.

2. Newspaper: Register-Guard, 30 Apr 1973, Eugene, Lane, OR. ⁹ Two other Florence youths were also arrested for criminal activity in drugs and minor in possession Sunday. They are Thomas Arthur Beecher, and Michael Anthony Laurentano, both 19. Police said they stopped the car in which the two men were riding and found beer and hashish.

Mr. Beecher was born March 20, 1954, in San Francisco, to Benjamin and Janet Beasley Beecher.
He was a truck driver for 10 years. He enjoyed fishing, travel and playing poker.
Survivors include his fiancee, Kei Farrow; two sons, Nathan of Springfield and Jason of Deadwood; three brothers, Dan of Mapleton, Ben of Springfield and Perry of Anchorage; two sisters, Laura of Florence and Janet Light of Mapleton; and four grandchildren.
Andreason's Burial & Cremation Service, Eugene, was in charge of arrangements.

Thomas married Susan Diane Smith, daughter of Harlan Maxsell Smith and Laura, on 6 May 1972 in , Lane, OR.^{1 2} The marriage ended in divorce on 21 Jun 1976. (Susan Diane Smith was born on 18 Apr 1955 in Eugene, Lane, OR.)
