1. Obituary: on 20 Jun 2012 in Lancaster, Lancaster, PA. ³ Edna M. Hershey, 101, of The Mennonite Home, formerly of Lancaster, passed away peacefully Monday, June 18, 2012. She was the daughter of the late J. Garfield and Lydia A. Newswanger Becher and was the wife of the late Melvin W. Hershey. A member of E. Chestnut St. Mennonite Church, she worked as a cook at Lancaster Mennonite High School and Little People Day Care.

Surviving are: two children, Donald husband of Miriam Miller Hershey, Conestoga, Marian wife of the late Ivan R. Horst, Seattle, WA; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. Preceded by: one brother, Clarence Becher; one sister, Nora High.

Funeral: 10 AM Friday, June 22, 2012 at Furman Home for Funerals, 59 W. Main Street, Leola. Viewing: 9-10 AM Friday. Interment: Stumptown Mennonite Cemetery.
