Living with them: Calvin, 25, Jul 1874; Bertha, 17, Feb 1883; John A., 15, Jan 1885; Iva A., 12, Jul 1887; Lottie M., 9, Sep 1890; Myrtle R., 8, Feb 1892; Linda, 5, Aug 1874. Everyone and their parents were born in Pennsylvania.

2. Newspaper: Evening Herald; Beacher-wagner Evening Nupitals, 11 Sep 1907, Shenandoah, Schuylkill, PA. 1 Arthur G. Beacher, of town, and Miss Lottie Wagner will be quietly married this evening at seven o'clock at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wagner, at Newlin. The ceremony will be performed by the Reformed minister of that place and will be a very quiet affair only the bride's family being present. There will be no attendants. The bride will wear a beautiful gown of green silk and will carry a bouquet of bridal roses. After the ceremony a wedding dinner will be served. Mr. Beacher and his bride are both well known and popular and have a host of friends who wish them a happy married life. Mr. Beacher will furnish a beautiful home in town for his bride where they will take up a residence.

Census in 1920 in Shenandoah, Schuylkill, PA. 16 The 1920 census recorded at 102 North Washington Avenue: Arthur Beacher, machinist in coal mine, 36, living with wife Lottie, 30; Arthur, 11; Evelyn, 9; Dorothy, 6; and Robert, 2 months. Everyone and their parents were born in Pennsylvania. [Note: Robert was recorded by census taker as a mistake, should be Paul].

5. Census in 1930 in West Mahanoy Twp., Schuylkill, PA. 12 Arthur Beacher, machinist colliery, 46, was married at age 24 to wife L?ttie, 39, who married at age 17. With them: Arthur Jr., coal engineer in coal mines, 21, who married at age 19; Dorothy, operator in telephone co., daughter-in-law, 24, who married Arthur Jr. at age 22; Evelyn, waitress, daughter, 19; Dorothy, 16; Paul, 11; and Jean, 5. Everyone and their parents were born in Pennsylvania, except Dorothy's parents were from Wales. They are living at 208 Ohio Avenue.

Census in 1940 in West Mahanoy Twp., Schuylkill, PA. 13 In the 1940 Census in West Mahanoy Township was recorded Arthur Beacher, age 56, retired, living with wife Lotte, 49; son Paul, 20, clerk in lumber company; daughter Jean, 15; plus son Arthur Beacher, 31, laborer in coal mine, and his wife Dot, 33, and their daughter Joan, 6. Also in the home is Arthur Sr's daughter Joan Balliet and her husband, John Balliet, 33, clerk in lumber company, and their child John Jr., 7. Everyone was born in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, except Lottie Beacher in Roaring Creek, Pennsylvania; John Jr. Balliet and Joan Beacher in Shenandoah Heights; and John Balliet Sr. In 1935 everyone lived in Shenandoah Heights.

11. Obituary: Pottsville Republican: obituary of Mrs. Arthur Beacher on 9 Aug 1954 in Pottsville, Schuylkill, PA. 19 Mrs. Arthur Beacher, 208 Ohio avenue, Shenandoah Heights, died yesterday at 4 a.m. at her home. She had been ailing for the past several years.
Born at Roaring Creek, she was the former Lottie M. Wagner, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wagner. Following her marriage in 1907, she moved to Shenandoah.
She was a member of the Bethany Evangelical and United Brethren Church. Surviving are her husband; two sons, Arthur Jr., of Frackville, and Paul, Selinsgrove; three daughters, Evelyn, wife of John Balliett, of town; Miss Dorothy, of Philadelphia, and Jean, wife of Fred Gibbons, of Shenandoah Heights, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will take place Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the family residence, with burial in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. W. Harry Waters has charge.
