Burkholder announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Grace M. to George R. Beecher, Lebanon. The ceremony was performed at Hanover by the Rev. F. S. Browmer, and uncle of the bride groom. The bride is a graduate of the local high school, class of 1917, and of the Cumberland Valley State Normal, class of 1919 and has been a teacher in the Palmyra schools for two years. The bridegroom is teacher of science in the Palmyra High School.

She being the only on ein the connection married during the past year. The old officers were reelected for next year. It was decided to hold a reunion next year about the same time at Meadow Brook Park.

14. Obituary: The Sentinel: obituary of Mrs. Grace B. Biecher on 23 Jun 1969 in Carlisle, Cumberland, PA. 9 Mrs. Grace Burkholder Biecher, 10 G Street, widow of George H. Biecher, died last night at Carlisle Hospital. She was 69 years old.
Mrs. Biecher was born on September 14, 1899, a daughter of the late Alvin A. and Eleanora Wagner Burkholder. She was a graduate of Shippensburg High School in 1919 and Shippensburg State College in 1921.
She was a teach in the public schools of Quincy, 1921 to 1923; Palmyra 1923 to 1925, and Chambersburg 1942 to 1963. She was a member of the United Church of Christ, chairman of Circle No. 2 of the church and secretary of the Fellowship of United Church of Christ. She also was a member of the Golen Age Club, N.S.R.T. Association, P.R.T. Association of Cumberland County, Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem Mo. 45, Gettysburg; Order of Amaranth No. 139, Chambersburg, and Order of Easters Star No. 375, Carlisle.
She is survived by a son, George R., 20 G. Street; a daughter, Miss Eleanor E. Biecher, Hagerstown; two sisters, Mrs. Vada Reed, Lewistown, and Mrs. Catherine Mentzer, Shippensburg, and two grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Hoffman Funeral Home, 219 North Hanover Street. The Rev. DeWitt L. Myers and Edward E. Dyche will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg. Friends may call tomorrow evening at the funeral home.

15. Obituary: Patriot-News: Obituary of Grace Biecher on 24 Jun 1969 in Harrisburg, Dauphin, PA. 21 CARLISLE - Mrs. Grace Burkholder Biecher, 69, of 10 G St., died Sunday at Carlisle Hospital. She was a 1919 graduate of Shippensburg High School and a 1921 graduate of Shippensburg State College. She taught school in Chambersburg from 1942 to 1963.
Mrs. Blecher was a member of the United Church of Christ, chairman of Circle No. 2 of the church and secretary of fellowship. She was also a member of the Golden Age Club, national and state retired teacher association, Order of White Shrine of Jerusalem, No. 45. of Gettysburg, Order of Amaranth No. 139 of Chambersburg and Order of the Eastern Star No. 375 of Carlisle.
She is survived by a son, George R. Beicher of Carlisle; a daughter, Miss Eleanor E. Beicher of Hagerstown, Md.; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Vada Reed of Lewistown and Mrs. Catherine Mentzer of Shippensburg.
