The wedding of Miss Virginia McIntosh, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Daniel F. McIntosh of Sheridan avenue, and Walter McAleese Beecher, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter B. Beecher of Sheridan avenue, took place last evening at 7:30 o'clock in the home of the bride's parents, the Rev. Dr. Arthur W. French performing the ceremony. The bride wore a gown of white duchess satin, trimmed with lace and pearls. The bridal veil was of tulle held in place with rose point lace and orange blossoms. The bride carried an arm bouquet of white roses and lilacs showered with lilies of the valley. She was attended by her sister, Mrs. Bennett W. Johnson, who wore a gown of green chiffon, beaded with crystals and rhinestones and carried an arm bouquet of spring flowers. John James Beecher was best man. A reception and dinner at the University Club supplemented the ceremony. Covers were laid for 24 at the bridal table, which was centered with spring flowers. Mrs. McIntosh, mother of the bride, was attired in pink chiffon beaded in crystals and silver, and her corsage was of orchids. Mrs. Beecher, mother of the bridegroom, wore a gown of French blue chiffon, with a corsage of pink roses. After an Eastern trip Mr. and Mrs. Beecher will make their home in the Alderson apartments. 7.
