Marion O. Stoll, 68. died yesterday at 10:30 a. m. at his home at 254 Gurley avenue. He had been bedfast since May 2, 1934, when he suffered a stroke of paralysis. Mr. Stoll and his son, Clifford B. Stoll of 25 South State street, established the Stoll Insurance and Collection agency In 1922, two years after Mr. Stoll left the Marion Steam Shovel Co. with which he had been associated for 29 years. At the time he left the company he was sales repair manager. For a period of four years, from 1923 to 1927, he served as justice of the peace. Mr. Stoll was born In Marion on Aug. 29, 1866, to Michael and Sarah Correll Stoll. He was married to Katherine Belcher on Sept. 1, 1887, in Marion. Surviving with the widow are one son, Clifford B. Stoll, three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Patricia and Dick Stoll, and two brothers, John H. Stoll of 315 Mt. Vernon avenue, veteran Marion merchant, and Charles O. Stoll of 827 Davids street. Mr. Stoll was a member of Trinity Baptist church and of the Rayl Sunday school class. The funeral will be conducted Tuesday at 3 p. m. at the home by Rev. Lawrence A. Wood of Trinity church. Burial will be made In the Marion cemetery. Friends may view the body at the home.
