5. Obituary: Marion Star: obituary of Clifford B. Stoll on 1 Apr 1966 in Marion, Marion, OH. ¹ Clifford B. Stoll, 77, a retired Marion businessman, died at 1 p.m. Thursday in his home at 265 S. State St. He had been ill several years. At various times he had operated the old Yellow Cab Taxi Co. and the former Kumfort Hotel at 136 N. State St. and he was retired club manager of Marion Lodge 32, BPO Elks. His wife, Mrs. Ellen L. Mezger Stoll, is a former deputy registrar of the Auto License Bureau. Born Oct. 25, 1888, in Marion, he was the son of Marion O. and Katherine Beicher Stoll. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and Sojourner Lodge 653, F & AM. Surviving are his widow whom he married June 30, 1917; two daughters, Mrs. William R. Isaly of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Kenneth Bolinger of Cincinnati; a son, Richard M. of Los Angeles, and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Denzer Funeral Home. Rev. R. J. Elliott will officiate. Burial will be in Marion Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7:30 tonight.
