Living with him is his wife, Margaret, age 21, and Kate, 2. All were born in Pennsylvania. 3. Census in 1880 in Marion, Marion, OH. 5 12 The 1880 census recorded Manual Beeker, plasterer, 32, living with wife Margret, 31; daughter Cathrine, 12; son George, 16; and brother George, 25. Everyone and their parents were born in Pennsylvania. 4. Newspaper: Lebanon Daily News, 27 Aug 1881, Lebanon, Lebanon, PA. 13 Mrs. Emanuel Beicher, Mrs. Henry Weaber, wife of ex-Sheriff Henry Weaber, of Marion county, Ohio, arrived here, accompanied by MIss Laura Embich, who has been paying a visit in the West. The husbands of teh above two ladies reside at Marion and are delighted with their new homes. 5. Emanuel and Margaret and their parents were born in Pennsylvania; Howard in Ohio. Emanuel's occupation is plasterer. The preceding neighbor in the Census is William M. Meiley, 37, born Aug 1862, who was born in Ohio but whose father was born in Pennsylvania, significant because Meily was the maiden name of Emanuel's mother. We suspect Emanuel came to Marion to link up with the Meileys. 6.
