DALLASTOWN, Aug. 11. -- George A. Wagman, 428 East Main street, president of G. A. and F. M. Wagman Construction Company, Inc., died at 10:25 o'clock last night at York Hospital. He was 71. He is survived by his widow, Susan Baker Wagman; eleven children, Mrs. Preston Smith, Loganville; Mrs. B. L. Frick, Lebanon; Mrs. Ervin Shedrick and Francis Wagman, both of this place; Mrs. Basil A. Shorb, York; Goerge F. Wagman, Mrs. John Krutulis, Edward B. Wagman and Mrs. Robert Klunk, all of this place; Mrs. Henry Beecher, Manchester; Gloria Wagman, at home; 31 grandchildren and a brother, Roman H. Wagman, this place. For many years a general contractor specializing in bridge construction, he was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and of the Holy Name Society there. He was president of the Vincent de Paul Society of the church. He also was on the board of directors of Paradise Protectory for Boys, Abbottstown, and was a member of York Council 1530, Knights of Columbus.


George married Susan Cecelia Baker, daughter of Harrison Baker and Mary S.
