2. Obituary: Reading Times: obituary of Jared Seifrit on 16 Mar 1897 in Reading, Berks, Pennsylvania, USA. ² Jared Seifrit died of typhoid pneumonia at his residence in Bern on Sunday, aged 58 years. He had been ailing over a week and had been bedfast all that time. Deceased was born in Bern and was engaged in farming. He resided in that township all his life. He was a member of the Reformed church at that place. Besides his widow, Emma, eight children survive, Adam, Charles, James, Frank, Emma, Carrie and Mary, wife of Samuel Klopp, all of Bern, and Annie, wile of Charles Beechert, of Reading, one brother, John, of Bern, and six grandchildren.
