10. Obituary: Plain Dealer: Mrs. John Wise dies; teacher for 28 years on 17 Mar 1975 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga, OH. 9 Mrs. John E. Wise, 87, Cleveland public school teacher for 28 years, died yesterday at St. Vincent Charity Hospital. She lived in South Euclid.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Flynn-Mylott funeral home, 4600 Mayfield Rd., South Euclid.
Mrs. Wise, the former Astrid E. Gram, also was a Sunday school teacher at St. Paul's Episcopal Church of East Cleveland about 25 years ago. She was a Bible history buff.
She studied at Western Reserve University and belonged to Masonic groups.
She is survived by daughters, Mildred E. Strack and Lois M. Beicher. Her husband died in 1961.
