Dittenhafer, 66, Philadelphia, a native of Adams county, died this morning at 6.15 o'clock at the home of his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Francis M. Beamer, Aspers R. D. 1. He had been ill and was at the Beamer home the past two weeks. the deceasede resided in Philadelphia 31 years and for the past 22 years was a machinist for a Philadelphia engineering corporation. His wife, Irene Jackson, Philadelphia, died eight years ago. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Beamer, Mrs. Victor Kumpf, Boyerstown, and Mrs. Oscar Starner, Gardners R. D. 2; two brothers, Daniel, Harrisburg, and James, Washington. Funeral services will be held Monday at 9 a. m. in the Dugan funeral home, Bendersville. The Rev. Richard H. L. Vanaman will officiate. Interment will be in the Coatesville cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p. m. Sunday.

Howard C. Dittenhafer, 66, Philadelphia, died June 8 at 6:15 a.m. at the home of his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Francis M. Beamer, Aspters R. 1.
Dr. C. C. Crist, Adams county coroner, investigated and attributed death to natural causes.
Mr. Dittenhafer was a native of Adams county, a son of the late James and Elizabeth (Heintzelman) Dittenhafter. He resided in Philadelphia for the last 31 years.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Beamer; Mrs. Victor Kumpf, Boyertown, and Mrs. Oscar Starner, Gardners R. 2; two brothers, Daniel, Harrisburg, and James O. Washington, D. C.
Funeral services Monday at 9 a.m. from the Dugan funeral home, Bendersville, conducted by the Rev. Richard H. L. Vanaman. Interment in a Coatesville cemetery.
The pallbearers included Francis and Gilbert Beamer, James and Daniel Dittenhafer, Elwood Davidheiser and Norman Bushey.
