Obituary: Perry County Democrat: obituary of Mrs. Francis Woods on 11 Oct 1933 in New Bloomfield, Perry, PA. 5 Mrs. Mary Woods, wife of Francis Woods, formerly a resident of the vicinity of Blain, died at her home in Newville Sunday of last week. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Clouse, of Jackson township, and for many years lived in the west end of Perry county.
She is survived by her husband and the following named sons and daughters: Floyd, at home, and Frank, of Carlisle; Mrs. Herman Yarlett, Carlisle R. D. 7; Mrs. J. C. Marquart, Mrs. B. W. Fahnestock and Mrs. Herman Wolfe, all of Lemoyne; Mrs. Herman Beecher, Shiremanstown; Mrs. Esther Bowman and Miss Irene Woods, both at home.
Mrs. Woods' many old friends in Perry county were very sorry to learn of her death, as she was a lady of fine character and was respected and esteemed by all who knew her.
Funeral services were held at her late home Wednesday afternoon of last week.
