Born Jan 17, 1898, in Allen County, a daughter of Isaac and Lydia Yoakam Ransbottom, she was a Lima resident all her life and retired in 1960 from DWG Cigar Corp.

Survivors include her husband, Edward C.; a son, Edward C. Jr. of 713 E. Third; a daughter, Mrs. Herbert (Dorothy) Ross of 569 S. Scott; a sister, Mrs. Cecil Cook of 1525 E. Elm; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Lewis Memorial Chapel of Chiles and Sons-Laman. Rev. Jack Riggs will officiate and burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
