Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon for Mrs. Lucille R. Castro, 51, of 333 Espinosa road, who passed away Tuesday night at a local hospital. The services will be held at 2 p.m. at Struve and Laportes funeral home with burial in the Garden of Memories.
Mrs. Castro had lived in this area 18 years and was a native of Seward, Neb. She is survived by her husband, Philip of Salinas, two daughters, Mrs. Robert L. Beacher of Fayetteville, Ark., and Mrs. Dale Lindsey of Salinas, and one son, Gene Smith of Orange, Calif.
She also is survived by five brothers, Lonnie Owen of Madera, Leonard F. Owen of Sacramento, John A., Charles, and Milo Owen of Watsonville, and two sisters, May Owen of Sacramento and Mrs. Gladys Ripp of Sacramento.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille R. Castro, 51, of 333 Espinosa road, were held from Struve and Laporte's yesterday afternoon. Services were conducted by the Rev. Wendell Ensor of the First Methodist church.
Pallbearers were Lonnie, Charles, Milo, Leonard and John Owen, all brothers of Mrs. Castro, and Virgil Paremore, a brother-in-law. Burial was in the Garden of Memories.
Mrs. Castro passed away in a Salinas hospital Tuesday.


Lucille married Arthur Raymond Smith, son of Herbert Spencer Smith and Eva Elizabeth O'Dell, on 25 Jul 1925 in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie, IA.1 (Arthur Raymond Smith was born on 19 Feb 1907 in Seward, Seward, NE,8 died on 26 Jul 1949 in North Platte, Lincoln, NE 8 and was buried in Kearney: Kearney Cemetery, Buffalo, NE 8.)
