The ceremony was performed on June 24 at the First Methodist church, Cumberland, Md., with Rev. George E. Baughman, pastor, officiating. The bride is an employee of the Shaffer stores company, while the bridegroom is employed in the Juniata shops of the Pennsylvania railroad.

She was born Sept. 26, 1910, in Altoona, the daughter of William and Rose (Stiver) Gunsalus. She married Emory Beecher. He died May 3, 1963.

Mrs. Beecher retired as a clerk from Mickels Store in Altoona.

Surviving is her twin brother, Elwood of Baltimore.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata.

BEECHER - Services for Hazel G. Beecher, formerly of 616 E. Carolina Ave., will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata, by the Rev. David S. Miller. Interment at Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.
