Obituary: Reading Times: obituary of Mrs. Elizabeth Weitzel on 18 May 1909 in Reading, Berks, Pennsylvania, USA. ¹¹ Mrs. Benjamin Weltzel (nee Becker) died at the home of her son, Harrison Weitzel, in Lower Heidelberg, early Monday morning, after being bedfast for over two years, aged 93 years, 7 months and 11 days. She was a member of the Lutheran congregation at Sinking Springs and leaves a son, Harrison, of Lower Heidelberg; one daughter, Mrs. James Lamm, near Kissinger Church; 13 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Deceased always lived in that vicinity and leaves a host of friends. Her home was with her son for 31 years. Her husband died in 1875.
