Bodkins, 57, RD1, Gardners, died yesterday while working at the Group Brothers Fruit Farm, Bodkins, a farmer all his llife, was born at Doe Hill, Va., the son of Mrs. Anne Bodkins Griffin, Carlisle, and the late Charles Bodkins.

Besides his mother, he is survived by five sons, William L. and Creedon B., RD1, Gardners; John F., RD2, Gardners; Bruce L., United States Navy, and Allen R., at home; three daughters, Mrs. Catherine Gibson, RD1, Carlisle; Mrs. Nancy Beecher, RD2, Chambersburg; Miss Zoe Bodkins, RD1, Shermans Dale; two sisters, Mrs. Eugene Lamma, Carlisle; Mrs. Valley Bodkins, Stanton, Va.; one brother, Roy Bodkins, Stanton, Va., and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Joseph W. Gibson Funeral Home, Mt. Holly Springs, with Rev. J. E. Stine officiating. Burial will be in Kutz Church Cemetery.
