He was born in Newville, a son of the late Francis and Annie (Beecher) Murren. Mr. Murren was employed byt he National Transit company. His first wife, the former Margie Knouse of Arendtsville, died 17 years ago.
Surviving are his widow, the former Edna Kissinger, two children, Orville, Lionier, and Mrs. Thomas Summerson, Conemaugh, Pa., four grandchildren, and two brothers, Harry, Kansas City, Mo., and Lewis, Smithton, Pa.
Funeral services July 10 at 2 p.m. from the Dugan funeral home, Bendersville, conducted by the Rev. Dr. D. D. Coble. Interment in Greenmount cemetery, Arendtsville.
