4. Obituary: Gettysburg Times: obituary of Leila Pearl Little Hoover on 26 Jul 1971 in Gettysburg, Adams, PA. 4 Mrs. Leila Pearl (Little) Hoover, 82, formerly of the Gettysburg area, died at the Warner Hospital at 7 o'clock Sunday morning following a lengthy illness.
A native of Carroll County, she was a daughter of David P. Sentz and Nettie Beecher Sentz. Her first husband, Charles E. Little, died in 1954 and her second husband, Branden L. Hoover, in 1965.
Surviving are five sons: Ray J. Little, 63 W. High St.; Paul Little, Gettysburg R. 5; Donald Little, Pensacola, Fla.; Edgar Little, Baltimore; and Merle Little, Lumber St., Littlestown; 23 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Five brothers: Earl D. Sentz, Hanover; William G. Sentz, 113 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown; Guy Sentz, Waynesboro; Edgar Sentz, York; and Donald Sentz, Carlisle.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. from Peters Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed. Edward Keyser officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9. The family requests that flowers be omitted.
