Obituary: Gettysburg Times: obituary of David Peter Sentz on 9 May 1930 in Gettysburg, Adams, PA. 14 Funeral services for David Peter Sentz, retired miller and ticket taker at the Majestic theatre for four years, who died at his home on North Stratton street, Thursday afternoon, will be held Sunday afternoon, meeting at the house at 2 o'clock, with further services in St. James' Lutheran church, the Rev. L. B. Hafer officiating, assisted by the Rev. Earl J. Bowman. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery. Mr. Stenz was a son of the late William H. and Matilda (Bellinger) Sentz, and is survived by nine sons and daughters: Mrs. Charles Little, Bonneauville; Ernest Sentz, Littlestown; Harry Sentz, Ruxton, Maryland; John, Guy and Edgar Sentz, Gettysburg; Earl Sentz, at home; William Sentz, Fourth street, and Donald Sentz, at home. Three brothers, Oliver Sentz, Littlestown; Jacob Sentz, Taneytown; Augustus Sentz, Greenmount. and three sisters, Mrs. John Wenschhof. Greenmount; Mrs. Charles Snyder, near Gettysburg, and Mrs. Jacob Hoke, Bonneauville, also survive. He was a member of the Mason and Dixon lodge, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Harney, and also was a member of the Adams county past grands' association. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church, Harney.
