Obituary: Harrisburg Telegraph: obituary of Peter Hoover on 20 Nov 1940 in Harrisburg, Dauphin, PA. 5 Peter Hoover, 60, Fort Wayne, Ind., died Saturday of a heart condition while hunting near Rome City, Ind. He was a former resident of near Duncannon. Surviving are the following daughters, Mrs. Edith Parker, Harrisburg; Mrs. Edward Baker, New Bloomfield, R.D.; Mrs Joseph Wharton, Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Preston Smyser, York; Mrs. Samuel Beecher, Dillsburg; the following sons, Lawrence and Stewart, both of Fort Wayne, Ind; Peter Jr., of Akron, Ohio; Stiles and Walter, both of York Haven.
Services will be at 2 p. m., to-day at the Nickel funeral home, Duncannon, the Rev. Raymond H. Wilson, retired pastor of the Duncannon Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery, Duncannon.
