DOVER -- Mrs. Gertrude E. Beecher, 69, of 3753 Carlisle Road died at 3:55 a.m. Sunday at York Hospital.
She was the wife of Samuel M. Beecher.
Mrs. Beecher was born in Duncannon, Perry County, a daughter of the late Emma Hoover.
Survivors include:
A son -- Gary L. Beecher, 2340 Blackberry Road.
A granddaughter.
A brother -- Stewart Hoover, Fort Wayne, Ind.
Vieweing will be 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Scott B. Emig Funeral Home, 47 N. Queen St.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Officiating will be the Rev. Herbert D. Wierback.
Burial will be in Surburban Memorial Gardens.
