In a ceremony performed Tuesday in the Princeton, N. J. University Chapel, Miss Nancy Elizabeth Craven, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Craven of Princeton, was married to Mr. William Earl Beecher of West De Pere. Miss Betty M. Craven was maid of honor. Robert F. Anderson was best man. Attending the ceremony were the bridegroom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Beecher of West De Pere, and his sister, Mrs. Gerald Dickey, also of West De Pere.
The bride is a graduate of Goucher College in Towson, Md. The bridegroom was graduated from St. Norbert College. After a wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Beecher will make their home in Chambersburg, Pa.

Wesley F. Craven, Princeton University professor of American history, emeritus, died yesterday of cancer at his home in Princeton. He was 75.
Mr. Craven was a scholar on Colonial America and had been a member of the Princeton faculty for 23 years when he retired in 1973.
He also taught at New. York University for 22 years, until his appointment to the Princeton faculty, and at the University of California at Davis, the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte after leaving Princeton.
Mr. Craven was the author of a number of works on Colonial America, including "New Jersey and the English Colonization of North America." He also co-edited a seven-volume history entitled, "Army Air Forces in World War II."
Mr. Craven is survived a by his wife, Helen, two daughters, Mrs. William Beecher and Mrs. Norris Barber. and a sister, Margaret Elizabeth Craven of Durham, N.C.
A memorial service will be held tomorrow at 3 p.m. in the Princeton University Chapel.
