Eleanor V. Micun, daughter of Mrs. Julia Micun, and the late Emil Micun, 334 West Chestnut street, Frackville, was married to Vincent Achenbach, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Leonard Achenbach, 200 North Broad Mountain avenue, Frackville, in St. Ann's R.C. Church on Saturday, June 6.
Rev. Joseph Rapezynski, pastor of the church, performed the double ring ceremony at 10 o'clock and also celebrated the Nuptial High Mass.
Miss Genevieve Micun, also of Frackville, was the maid of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were Eleanor Kruk and Patricia Slenkievicz, both of Frackville, then latter a niece of the bride, and Ann Wychulis, of Shenandoah.
Leonard Achenbach, brother of the bridegroom, of Gilberton, was the best man. The ushers were Peter Sankus, Edward Orzechowski, of Frackville, and Alphonse Zuby, of Tamaqua.
A reception was held in the Annunciation BVM parish hall, following the ceremony.
The couple are "at home" at their newly furnished home at 528 Howard street, Frackville.
Mrs. Achenbach, a graduate of Frackville High School, is employed by the Tung Sol Company, Weatherly. Her bridegroom, also a Frackville graduate, is employed as a pipe fitter with the H. C. Vogel Company.

4. Obituary: Pottsville Republican on 21 May 1997 in Pottsville, Schuylkill, PA. 3 Vincent Achenbach, 63, of 200 N. Broad Mountain Ave. Frackville, died Tuesday at Pottsville Hospital. Born in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Leonard and Mary Malakauskie Achenbach.
He was a second class radarman in the Navy and served on the USS Brenner.
He was employed as a sprinkler fitter at several major sprinkler manufacturers until retiring.
He was of the Catholic faith. He was a member of the Sprinkler Fitter's Union Local No. 669.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard; a sister, Marie.
Surviving are his former wife, Eleanor Micun Achenbach, Frackville; three sons, Vincent P., Liverpool, N.Y., Allen A., Vallejo, Calif., and Joseph G., Frackville; five grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
The Rev. Dominik Kalata will officiate. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
Albert L. Gricoski Funeral Home, Frackville, is in charge of arrangements.
