Eleanor V. Micun, daughter of Mrs. Julia Micun, and the late Emil Micun, 334 West Chestnut street, Frackville, was married to Vincent Achenbach, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Leonard Achenbach, 200 North Broad Mountain avenue, Frackville, in St. Ann's R.C. Church on Saturday, June 6.
Rev. Joseph Rapezynski, pastor of the church, performed the double ring ceremony at 10 o'clock and also celebrated the Nuptial High Mass.
Miss Genevieve Micun, also of Frackville, was the maid of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were Eleanor Kruk and Patricia Slenkievicz, both of Frackville, then latter a niece of the bride, and Ann Wychulis, of Shenandoah.
Leonard Achenbach, brother of the bridegroom, of Gilberton, was the best man. The ushers were Peter Sankus, Edward Orzechowski, of Frackville, and Alphonse Zuby, of Tamaqua.
A reception was held in the Annunciation BVM parish hall, following the ceremony.
The couple are "at home" at their newly furnished home at 528 Howard street, Frackville.
Mrs. Achenbach, a graduate of Frackville High School, is employed by the Tung Sol Company, Weatherly. Her bridegroom, also a Frackville graduate, is employed as a pipe fitter with the H. C. Vogel Company.

Eleanor V. Achenbach, 86, of Frackville, passed away Wednesday at her residence. Born in Morea, she was a daughter of the late Emil and Julia Brach Micun. She was a graduate of Frackville High School. She was member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Parish, Frackville Senior Citizens and American Legion Post 398 Ladies Auxiliary, all of Frackville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Florence Sienkiewicz, Cecelia Micun, Theresa E. Dembroski and Genevieve C. Micun; brothers, Emil Micun Jr., Leonard Micun and Walter Swistak. She was the last member of her immediate family.
Eleanor is survived by three sons, Vincent Achenbach and his wife, Tammy, Mechanicsville, Va., Allen Achenbach, at home, Frackville, and Joseph Achenbach and his wife, Dorene, Frackville; grandchildren, Jared, Nicole, Vincent Jr., Sara and Dana Achenbach.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, Frackville, with the Rev. Robert T. Finlan, pastor, as celebrant.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at Albert L. Gricoski Funeral Home, Frackville. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Englewood Frackville.
Albert L. Gricoski Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.


Eleanor married Vincent C. Achenbach on 6 Jun 1959 in Frackville, Schuylkill, PA. (Vincent C. Achenbach was born on 26 Jun 1933 in Pottsville, Schuylkill, PA,3 8 died on 20 May 1997 in Pottsville, Schuylkill, PA 8 and was buried in Anville: Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Lebanon, PA 8.)
