Obituary: Shenadoah Evening Herald on 10 Feb 1939 in Shenandoah, Schuylkill, PA. ^{2 3} Philip Tenaglia, 35 West Main street, Girardville, died this morning at 10 o'clock in the Ashland State Hospital, where he had been a patient since Sunday. He was 40 years old. Born in Italy, he immigrated to this country 25 years ago. He had been a resident of Girardville for the past 18 years. For the past 10 years he was employed as rock contractor at the Potts colliery.
Fraternally, he was a member of the Ashland B. P. O. Elks, Girardville Ranger Hose Company and the Girardville Sons of Italy. Religiously, he was member of St. Joseph's Church, Girardville. Surviving are his widow, Viola; one step-daughter, Mary DePrince, Anthony and Albert, one daughter, Ida, at home; three brothers, Ralph, Girardville; Luko and Rocco, Philadelphia; one sister, Mrs. Dominick Carullo, Girardville, and his mother, Mrs. Dominick Panno, Girardville. One sister and two brothers in Italy also survive.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Undertaker M. J. McDonald.
