He was a native of Leacock Twp., a son of the late John and Lucetta Bicher Curley. He was a painter by trade until he opened the store when he moved to Manor Twp. He was a member of the United Brethren Church of Ephrata.
Besides the sister, Lillie, wife of Harry Geist, with whom he resided, he is survived by two brothers, Harry and Chester, both of Reading, and a number of nieces and nephews.
