Mr. James E. Cornelison, 73 years old, died at his home on Chestnut Hill yesterday, after an illness of some days. The funeral will beheld from the residence tomorrow morning at 10:30 o'clock and the burial will be in Chestnut Hill cemetery. He is survived by several sons and daughters, among these being Mrs. Jake Brown.

Other sons and daughters are Mrs. J. F. Daniel, of Durham; Mrs. E. C. Barker, of Greensboro; Mrs. Gertrude Conner of Salisbury; J. S. Cornelison and Chas. A. Cornelison, of Salisbury, and J. C. Cornelison of Arizona. He is also survived by two brothers, W. D. Cornelison, of Spencer, and Haywood Cornelison, of Salisbury, and a sister, Mrs. D. M. Beeker, of Greensboro.

James married Sarah Ellen Beeker, daughter of Samuel Beeker and Ellen J. Gallimore. (Sarah Ellen Beeker was born about 1857 in , Davidson, NC, USA 7 8 and died about 1893.)
