(Note: After James Edward Cornelison's first wife, Sarah Beeker, died about 1893-95, James married her brother William Henry Beeker'widow, Minnie Russell.)
In 1900 living with James and Minnie were Sarah's children: Florence, 23, Nov 1876; Gertrude, 21, Mar 1879; John, 19, Mar 1881; Curtis, Jun 1884, 16, Charley Beeker, Nov 1887, 12; Ella Beeker, Mar 1890, 10. SALISBURY - Charles Ambrose Cornelison, 86, of 728 S. Jackson St. died Monday in Rowan Memorial Hospital. Funeral will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Summersett Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Reece E. Cook officiating. Burial will be at Chestnut Hill Cemetery. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army in World War I and retired in 1954 after 50 years with the Southern Railway Co. He was a member of Coburn Memorial United Methodist Church. Surviving are widow, Mrs. Ollie Wood Motsinger Cornelison; stepson, Ancil Motsinger of Swartz Creek, Mich. The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. today.
