Mrs. Henderson was born on December 10, 1939 in Flat Creek, Alabama. She was employed with Thuss Clinic as a nurse and completed her career doing private duty in 1991. Mrs. Henderson resided in Dothan since 2002 until moving to Graceville, FL in 2011. She loved to sew and crochet every opportunity she had. Mrs. Henderson was a member of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Jean McCurry Beeker and by her daughter, Martha Jean Henderson.
Survivors include her husband, Reginald Henderson, Eutaw, AL; her 2 sons, Robert Dewayne (Trudy) Sutton and Steven (Pam) Jackson, Birmingham, AL; her daughter, Sarah Ponder, Dothan, AL; her 7 grandchildren; her 2 great grandchildren; her brother, James (Jean) Beeker; several nieces and nephews.

Martha married Robert Emmett Sutton. (Robert Emmett Sutton was born on 18 Jan 1939,^{4 5} died on 19 Feb 1998 in McCalla, Jefferson, Alabama, USA ^{4 5} and was buried on 21 Feb 1998 in Hoover, Jefferson, AL ^{4 5}.)
