Saturday, news of the death of Hiram Meily, a former Marinite, at Buckeye lake, was received here. He died of paralysis, Friday. He was about seventy years of age.

Mr. Meily was a veteran of the civil war having enlisted in Marion. He was wounded seriously soon after enlistment. He left Marion about fifteen years ago. He never married.

The deceased is survived by two brothers and one sister, as follows: Mahlon A. Meily, of east Farming street, this city, and Aaron Meily, of Columbus and Mrs. Sarah Krause of north State street, Marion.
