Hazel E. Holder, 87, of Road 500N, died at 7 a.m. Sunday at Bartholomew County Hospital. Born in Bartholomew County July 14, 1903, the daughter of Francis Gosch and Ida Stacker Gosch. Married John M. Holder on June 26, 1930. He survives. She was an elementary school teacher in the Flat Rock-Hawcreek School Corp. and the Edinbugh Community School Corporation. She retired in 1970. Mrs. Holder was a member of Hope Moravian Church and had been a Sunday School teacher of the Kola Class there for 50 years. She was past matron of the Clifford Order of Eastern Star, past deputy of District No. 4, Order of Eastern Star, a member of Daughters of American Revolution in Columbus, Flat Rock Township Extension Homemakers Club; and Kill Kare Club of Hope. Surviving are daughters, Rosemary Trotter of Columbus, Irene Beeker and Eloise Golden, both of Hope; a brother, Kenneth Gosch of Edinburgh; a sister, Inez Stott of Franklin; eight grand-children; four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.
