1. Census in 1880 in Brecknock Twp., Lancaster, PA. ¹² John Bicher, farm laborer, age 23, is living only with Susan Bicher, age 28.

2. Census in 1900 in Cumru Twp., Berks, PA. ¹³ The 1900 census recorded farmer John Beecher, 45 born Jan 1855, living with his wife of 22 years, Susanna, 48, Dec 1851; daughter Ellen Keffer, 19, Aug 1881; and newly-married son-in-law John Keffer, 21, Jun 1879. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania.

3. Census in 1910 in Brecknock Twp., Lancaster, PA. ¹ John Bicher, age 55, appears in the 1910 Census in Brecknock Township married to Susan, 57. The record shows they were married 32 years and had two children, both of whom were still living in 1910. He is a farmer, and John and Susan speak only German! A niece is also living in the household.

Susanna, nee Zinn, widow of John Bicher, died Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Ellen, wife of John Keffer near Adamstown, aged 77 years, 1 month and 11 days. Death was due to heart failure. A daughter, Mrs. Keffer, and a son, Howard Snader, of Bowmansville, survive; also 11 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. James Wenrich, of Bowmansville. The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 1:30 at the home, with further services at 2.00 o'clock at the Muddy Creek church, and with interment in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. A. W. Leibensperger, or Ephrata, will officiate, and Funeral Director H. M. Mellinger, of Denver, will have charge.

She is survived by one daughter, Ellen, wife of John Keffer; one son, Howard Snader, of Bowmansville; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, one sister, Sophia, wife of James Wenrich, of Bowmansville. Funeral on Monday at 1:30 from the Keffer home, and at 2 o'clock at Muddy Creek Church. Interment in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. A. W. Leibersperger, of Ephrata, will officiate. Funeral Director H. M. Mellinger, of this place, has charge.
