Mr. Beeker is the son of Mr. and Mrs. O. J. Beeker of Albemarle, and Mrs. Beeker is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bud Swanner, also of Albemarle.
The couple have a host of friends in the city who will be interested in the announcement of their marriage.

Mrs. Hornaday is daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isiah Marshall Swanner, Albemarle. She has lived here 16 years and is a supervisor in the production department of Mock-Judson-Voehringer company. Mr. Hornaday, son of the late Rev. and Mrs. J. A. Hornaday, Maxton, is a graduate of Trinity Park school, Durham, and Massey Business college, Richmond, Va. He has been in the office machine business here the past 15 years.
