HURON -- Vera Jones, 81, died Friday, July 19, 1996, at the Huron Regional Medical Center.
Vera Ninneman was born June 19, 1915, in Milwaukee, Wis. She married Curtis B. Jones in 1935. They moved to Huron in 1946, and later owned the Delight Shop. She also worked at KIJV and was the food stamp coordinator for Beadle County. Her husband preceded her in death.
She was a member of the American Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two children: Beverly Jones of Cincinnati, Ohio; and Clifford of Omaha, Neb.; and one sister, Joyce Lukowitz of Milwaukee, Wis.
Memorial services begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Welter's Funeral Home in Huron, with burial at Riverside Cemetery.
