Beher, farmer, 29, born Feb 1871, living with wife Bertha, 29, Mar 1871; brother Cleve, farm laborer, 16, Nov 1884; and servant Maude Bowne, 17, Oct 1883. Everyone and their parents were born in Indiana. Tosso and Bertha were married for 10 years and she had birthed 0 children by 1900.

2. Census in 1910 in Center Township, Rush, IN. 5 The 1910 census recorded Lasso L. Beher [indexed wrong due to poor handwriting, is actually Tasso], farmer, 39, living with wife Bertha L., 39; and foster-daughter Doris H. Beher, 10. Doris and her parents were born in Kentucky. [Her father's surname is Howard according to her Indiana death certificate.] Tasso, his parents, Bertha, and her mother were born in Indiana. Her father was born in Ohio. The census records the couple was married for 19 years and Bertha had birthed no children by 1910.

Mrs. Bertha Beher, age 56 years, wife of Tosso Beher, a well known farmer residing near Occident, Rush County, died suddenly Saturday at Pierce City, Mo., where she had gone for a visit with James Abernathy and wife. Mrs. Beher was accompanied to Missouri by her foster daughter, Mrs. Doris Berry, and the latter's daugher, Roseland Berry. On Saturday morning Mrs. Beher told the folks at the Abernathy home that she felt better than common, but in a brief space of time some of the members of the household found her quite ill, and physician was summoned to the home. It was a heart attack and Mrs. Beher only lived about 45 minutes after the attack came upon her.
She was the daughter of Josiah and Martha Florea, pioneers of Rush County, and was one of a family of 11 children, all of whom are gone before, except Mrs. John Dora and Mrs. Frank McDaniels of this city, and Mrs. John Sanders of northern Indiana. Mrs. Beher was a very popular woman in her neighborhood and one who will be greatly missed in the circles in which she moved.
The remains were brought back to Rushville, arriving there Sunday evening, and then were conveyed to her last home, near Occident.
Funeral services for Mrs. Beher were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 from the Little Blue River Baptist Church in Rush County, Indiana, conductec by Elder Watson. Burial was in Glencove Cemetery, this city.

Sells, near Raleigh, with approximately 35 attending from many places. F. Jones and family, Mrs. Carl F. Beher, Mrs. Toss Beher, Mrs. Fred Jessup and the Misses Nellie and Maude Jones, all of Rushviile and Lenora Jones of Phoenix, Ariz.


Bertha married Tosso L. Beher, son of Oren Beher and Laura Jane Smith, on 5 Oct 1890 in , Rush, IN.1 (Tosso L.
