In honor of her 63d birthday anniversary Mrs. Amanda Bicher, of Mohnton, was tendered a surprise. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. John M. Bicher, Miss Ella M. Bicher, Mr. and Mrs. William H. Bicher and daughters, Helen, Elsie, Stella, Dorothy, Rachael and Mary, all of Mohnton; Mrs. and Mrs. Barton S. Bitzer and daughter Mildred, Reading; Mr. And Mrs. Harry S. Bicher and son J. Henry, West Reading; Mr. and Mrs. John E. Bicher and daughters, Melva and Esther, Mohnton. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Kegerise and daughters, Margaret and Hazel, Shillington, and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bender and son, Robert, Mohnton. A fine dinner was served. Victrola music was enjoyed.

Shillington; Carrie, wife of Martin Kergerise, Shillington; Minnie, wife of Elmer Bender, Hendleton; also 17 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two sisters, Emma, wife of Abraham Lawrence, Pottstown; Alice, wife of Howard Hoffman, Reading, and a brother, Jesse, Rochester, N.Y. Undertaker C.D.B Kindt, this borough, has charge of the funeral arrangements.
