This Henry's modern day family has a Saur Bible printed in 1734 in Germanstown, PA with a brass plaque on the cover inscribed: "Heinrich Bicher" , " Dec. D. 23, 1809." This is before the birth of this Henry, so he has an earlier Henry ancestor, and likely that must be the grandfather of Henry Bicher b. 12 Apr 1828. We have not yet found the missing connections.

2. Census in 1860 in Adamstown, Lancaster, PA. 2 Henry Bicher, age 30, is recorded as a day laborer living on the farm of Henry Echternach, age 39. He is listed on the same page as Lydia Redcay [nee Bicher] who is likely his sister.

Mr. Biechert Among Dead
He expired on Thursday Afternoon at Home of Son in Myerstown
Henry Biecher died on Thursday afternoon at the home of his son, Meryl, on Richland street, aged about 79 years, from infirmities due to his old age. Deceased up to two years ago was a remarkably well preserved man. At that time he suffered a severe attack of typhoid fever, and since then although he partially recovered, his health continued to fail. During the past few months he had been an inmate of the hospital of the County home. On Wednesday he expressed a desire to return to his home, and he was brought here by the steward and a physician. His wife and one son, Morris, survive. The funeral will be held on Monday morning. Services will be conducted in Frieden's Lutheran church by Rev. A. E. Youse. Interment will be made in the New cemetery. Funeral Director Isaac Bahney has charge of arrangements.

Henry married Lucy Ann Fry, daughter of MIchael Fry and Elizabeth Hoschaar.
