John and Susan were married for 11 years and she had birthed 3 children, all alive in 1900. Everyone and their parents were born in Maryland.

2. Census in 1910 in Steubenville, Jefferson, OH. ⁴ The 1910 census recorded living at 70 Mingo Pike: John H. Zouck, laborer, 44, living in the household of his mother, Henryetta Zouck, widow, 66, and her children: daughter Sarah S., laundress at home, 37; son Thomas P., laborer in steel mill, 29; and daughter Sabre V., 13. Everyone and their parents were born in Maryland, except Henryetta's father in England. Henryetta was married 46 years ago and had birthed 9 children, 7 alive in 1910. John H. was married for 25 years.

He has conflicting death information of His wife's obituaries say he died in 1917, but others mistakenly state John died 31 Dec 1913 but that Ohio death certificate shows it is for a female unnamed premature infant age 3 days, mother Sabra Zouck, father "not legitimate", 31 Dec 1913 and Mingo Junction, Jefferson, OH, USA. ⁵

John married Susan Frances Beeker, daughter of Noah M. Beecher and Margaret Bull.
