Parkton, Feb. 1. After a two weeks' sickness of a complication of diseases, superinduced by a stroke of paralysis, Benjamin Samuel Wood, died at his home, at this place at 9:30 o'clock last night. He was 70 years of age.
Besides his widow, Mr. Wood leaves these sons and daughters: Charles H. Wood, Baltimore; W. W. Wood, of Parkton, Md.; B. S. Wood, Sparks, Md.; Mrs. Murrell Beeker, Parkton, Md. He is also survived by one sister, Mary Tooley, Howardsville, Va.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, with services at his late residence at 1 p. m., in charge of Rev. H. L. Fehl. Interment will be made in Pine Grove cemetery. Funeral directors, Hartenstein and company, of New Freedom, have charge of the funeral.

Benjamin married Marian Haverland Giles. (Marian Haverland Giles was born on 13 Oct 1874 in Wintergreen, Nelson, VA, USA and died on 26 Jun 1966 in Parkton, Baltimore, MD, USA.)
