Delphi, May 31. -- Funeral services for Charles Gay, age 83, who died Monday night, will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the late residence, west of Delphi. Burial will be in the Pretty Prairie cemetery.
Mr. Gay, with his brother, Milt, were among the largest landowners in this part of the state. The two own more than 1,000 acres in Carroll and White counties. His brother is the only immediate survivor.

BROOKSTON, Feb. 13 -- Milton Gay, 85, the last member of a pioneer family, died at his home six miles east of here, after suffering a stroke four days ago. His parents were John and Elizabeth (Beeker) Gay. A farmer, his entire life was spent on the same farm. He was a member of the Methodist church. Only survivors are nieces and nephews. Body at the Thompson funeral home for services there Saturday at 2 p. m.
