Lafayette, Ind., Oct. 28. -- That Mrs. Clarence Rhyan, who was found dead in her bathtuh in West Lafayette Saturday, met her death in a most unusual manner was disclosed today at the coroner's investigation. It was supposed she died of heart failure, but the fact was revealed today that when she stepped into the tub she slipped and fell, striking her eye on one of the metal faucets, and this rendering her unconscious, she fell face downward in ten inches of water and was drowned. It was supposed that fumes from an instantaneous gas heater also helped to hasten her death.
